High School [The Edge]
The purpose of the Edge is to help students find Christ and grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally through the avenues of discipleship and mentorship. The Edge is for high school students who want to learn more about who God is and who He created them to be. Today’s teenagers live in a world that is hurting, and our goal is to help them make sense of that world and their place and purpose in it. Led by Paul and Becci Binnquist, the core of the Edge is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to influencing high school students for Christ. We believe that by creating disciples of Christ with a passion for evangelism, we can help our students reach their friends, families and communities for Christ. We create opportunities for our students to bring their friends to meet Christ for the first time; we also create opportunities for our students to go deeper in their own walks with God.
WHEN WE MEET:
Thursday Nights:
We meet Thursday nights at The Edge from 6:30 – 8:30pm in the Warehouse and are focused on fellowship in a large-group setting. With food, games, worship and a speaker, we have a great time helping our students and their friends find Christ!
Sunday Mornings:
Sunday mornings at The Edge take place from 11:00am – 12:00am in the Warehouse. On Sundays, we focus on digging deeper into Scripture with our students and challenging them to live out their faith on a daily basis. Our Sunday morning meetings place a heavier emphasis on helping our students grow in their walks with the Lord.
Sunday Evenings:
Sunday evenings The Edge and the Rock (Jr. High) meets from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the Warehouse for an intimate, in-depth Bible study.
