Winter Retreat
Each year, the Edge takes a smaller, more intimate group on a winter retreat. Although the location may vary from year to year, the purpose is always the same: to really challenge the students in the faith more deeply than we do on a typical Thursday night or Sunday morning. The winter retreat gives the students the opportunity to build new relationships and even strengthen old ones on this challenging weekend getaway.
Hume Lake Christian Camp
Each summer we take a large group of students to Hume Lake Christian Camps to devote a week to growing both as a group and individuals. Our week at Hume Lake includes nightly meetings, exciting recreation, and a lot of fellowship among our group. The cost for going to camp at Hume Lake averages around $565, and our students spend a good part of the year raising the money that will allow them to attend camp. This year, the Edge is going to Hume Lake August 11-17 and we like to use our time at Hume Lake as the “start” to our year and as a starting point for many of the activities and topics we’ll cover throughout the rest of the school year. Senior Trip
This year is our first annual Senior Trip. We are excited to spend the weekend of May 10-12 with the graduating seniors in Laguna Beach for a fun weekend. Space is extremely limited, so get your checks in ASAP. Cost for retreat is $225. Please download the form below, fill it out, and turn it in to Cathy at the Edge.
