What We Do

The Children’s Ministry of Beachcities Community Church is committed to assisting parents in helping their children find Christ and grow through a loving, safe, and fun environment.

The three Youth Ministries have the same goals—helping people find Christ and grow--for the young men and women who participate.


What We Desire

We desire that each and every child, youth and young adult experience God’s love, learn His Word and discover their own God-given gifts to reach their world for Christ.


What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; that He came to earth; died on the cross for our sins; and rose again. We believe that if you accept Jesus as your Savior, you will go to heaven. We believe this is “good news”.

Infants (newborn to 15 months)

The Beachcities Nursery (for newborns through age 15 months) is attended by experienced, loving Moms and/or trained staff members at all three Sunday services: 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

The Nursery is located just outside the main doors to the Auditorium, directly opposite the Kitchen.

Toddlers (ages 15 months to 3 years)

Toddlers (ages 15 months to 3 years) meet in the (cleverly named!) Toddler’s Room opposite the Elementary Classroom near the back entrance to the Main Hallway.

Sunday School for Toddlers is available at all three Sunday services: 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

In our Children’s Department, your little ones will receive quality care and spiritual nurturing from the trained Beachcities Kids Team!

Pre-School (age 3-Kindergarten)

Pre-schoolers (ages 3-5) meet in the Pre-School Room, located straight down the hall from the Auditorium main doors. Children’s Church and Sunday School for Pre-Schoolers is available at all three Sunday services: 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

Elementary School (Grades 1-3)

Elementary School-age children have Children’s Church and Sunday School at all three Sunday services: 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

Classes meet in the Elementary Room located to the left just inside the back entrance to the Main Hallway.

A special Tuesday evening program called CityKids! meets in the Elementary room from 6:30-8:30 p.m. (CityKids! is currently on summer break, but will be resuming on Sept. 21.

Breakaway (Grades 4-5)

Our new ministry for 4th and 5th graders only meets during second service on Sunday mornings at 9:30.

Currently, Breakaway meets in the Conference Room upstairs.

A special Tuesday-evening CityKids! performing arts program meets during the school year, Sept.-May. Call the church office, (714) 698-0668, for additional information.
