Our Mission

Our mission at Beachcities Community Church is to “Help people find Christ and grow spiritually, emotionally and relationally.” We believe this is the most natural way of spiritual growth.

We believe that each person has been uniquely created to live an abundant life through a right relationship with Jesus Christ. Each of us has a unique purpose that God has created us for, and we can only begin to live that purpose through confessing our sin, accepting Jesus' free gift of salvation, and walking with Him daily.

As we mature in our walk with Christ and become more devoted followers of Him, we believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to mature emotionally: giving us the power to forgive, replace fear with peace, live without shame, empower us to love sacrificially, and live a life that chooses joy.

While we're growing spiritually and emotionally, our relationships begin to deepen and become more sacrificial. One of the markers of Christian growth is our growth in relationship with others. We believe that as we invest in our spiritual health, we will begin to cultivate more deeply fulfilling and loving relationships with others.

Our Values

At Beachcities we have ten defining values that we pursue wholeheartedly, and ask our people to join with us in this pursuit.

The first commandment is to love God and to love others. It’s that simple.
We don’t do what we want, we do what God wants. We live under the authority of God through His Word and His Spirit. He is God, we are not.
Found people find people. Because eternity is on the line, we are willing to do whatever it takes, short of sin, to help people find Christ.
Real life change is nearly impossible apart from an authentic community. We cannot become more like Jesus on our own.
We serve a BIG God so we respond to Him with BIG faith by attempting BIG things. With God all things are possible.

As Christians, our Bible, our beliefs, and our behavior line up and, when they don’t, we handle that with integrity, too.
We are facing a hopeless, lost generation that has given up on God and His church. They are depending on us to reach back into their lives and shape them into disciples who know what it means to live a life for the glory of God. Everyone needs a Spiritual Father to follow, a brother to walk with and a son to bring along!
We don’t just sit, we serve. Jesus came to serve, not be served. He came to give His life. So we’ll do the same.
No sacrifice that we make is greater than the one Christ already made. We will sacrifice our time, our tithe, and our talents – generously and joyfully – so that people might experience God.
As individuals, we will stand before God and be judged based on our personal relationship with Him. So, we take the time regularly to hear from God, talk to God and walk with God.
