Invite A Friend

We understand that we are ALL evangelists. It’s not just the job of the Senior Pastor to help people find Christ—it’s actually our job!

Listen for the “three nots”

Pastor Kent always encourages us to listen for the “three nots” when we’re in conversation with our friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors. When you hear one of the following three, there’s a good chance that the person you’re talking to is open to an invitation to church.

If you hear any of these three, immediately invite. All you have to say is, “You should come to my church this weekend!” You just potentially extended a life-saving invitation.

  • Not in church.

When your coworker tells you that they aren’t currently attending church anywhere, that’s a great time to jump in and extend an invitation to Beachcities, where you know they will be presented with a clear picture of the Gospel.

  • Not prepared.

When a family member calls you explaining their lack of peace and security in a new life stage (i.e., a new child, job, etc.), invite them to church to hear about a God who provides peace that surpasses all understanding.

  • Not going well.

When your neighbor shares with you that they are facing one of the 4 Ds (divorce, drugs, disease, or debt) or that they are ultimately lacking hope and joy, invite them to a weekend service at Beachcities, where they will learn about a God who gives us His Spirit and the fruits of joy, peace, and self-control.
